Scratch Time Machines

	Overview: Need an invention that will wake you up in the morning in a civilized way? Or a machine that tells you when it's play time, lunch time, game time or real time? Click to see a time machine in action.
	The Problem: Sometimes it's really hard to get out of bed! And when we do get roused from a good dream, we're often in a foul mood.
	The Mission: What if we could build an alarm clock that could make you get up on time with a smile on your face? It could tickle you, tell you a joke, play a fine tune, or squirt you with water! This challenge incorporates interesting engineering and computer science concepts such as serial vs. parallel processing and computer execution time.
	The Plan: 1) Research time machines. 2) Specify your design. 3) Draw animated critters. 4) Record quotes, jokes and tunes. 5) Write a Scratch clock program. 6) Build cuckoo critters that move. 7) Add a motor controller. 8) Present your solution to the world.
